Habitat

A sustainable fashion label that was selling out collections on instinct and no system. We gave them a brand architecture that could hold ten future product lines without breaking, plus a visual language warm enough to feel human and rigorous enough to scale. The result reads as a house, not a single drop.

The problem

Hàbitat had built fifteen years of quietly excellent interior work, but their brand spoke like a studio half their age and a fraction their depth. New clients arrived expecting a young firm and were surprised by the seniority in the room. The presence was actively underselling the practice.

The challenge

The founders were protective of a logo they'd used for over a decade and skeptical that a rebrand wouldn't erase their history. We had to evolve the identity enough to signal maturity without breaking the recognition their existing clients relied on. The site also had to let a non-technical two-person team publish complex project stories without a developer on call.

The solution

We anchored the new identity in the one thing every Hàbitat project shares — material honesty — and built a restrained editorial system around it: a refined wordmark that kept the spirit of the original, a type hierarchy that treats each project like a built space, and a CMS structured around rooms and materials rather than generic image grids. Publishing a new project went from a multi-day developer task to a fifteen-minute in-house one.

The impact

Inbound enquiries from the target client tier rose 38% in the first quarter after launch. The studio published more project stories in three months than in the previous two years combined, and reported that new clients now arrive already understanding the seniority of the practice.
