Verd collective

A sustainable fashion label that was selling out collections on instinct and no system. We gave them a brand architecture that could hold ten future product lines without breaking, plus a visual language warm enough to feel human and rigorous enough to scale. The result reads as a house, not a single drop.

The problem

Verd was selling out collections on instinct, taste, and a loyal following — but with no brand system underneath. Every drop looked like a different company. As they planned to scale from one product line to several, the lack of structure was about to become a liability rather than a charm.

The challenge

We needed a brand architecture flexible enough to hold ten future product lines without fragmenting, yet warm enough to keep the human, hand-made quality that earned the original following. Sustainability claims also had to feel earned, not decorative — the audience was sharp and allergic to greenwashing.

The solution

We built a house-of-brands architecture with a consistent core and room for each line to have its own character. The visual language paired a warm neutral palette with rigorous typographic structure, and packaging direction that let materials and process do the talking instead of slogans. The system was documented so the in-house team could extend it without us.

The impact

The first collection launched under the new system sold out in 72 hours — their fastest ever. Wholesale accounts grew by 24 in six months as the brand finally read as a coherent house buyers could commit shelf space to, rather than a series of one-off drops.
